Edwin's Presidential Address

2025-26

It is both an honour and a privilege to serve as President of the Rotary Club of New Mills, Marple and District for the year 2025–2026.

Our club has a long and proud tradition of service, fellowship, and community spirit. As we step into a new Rotary year, we do so with renewed energy, fresh ideas, and a shared commitment to making a difference—locally and globally.

Our mission remains clear: to serve others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders. Whether it’s supporting local food banks, mentoring young people, helping communities abroad, or simply being there for someone in need, we believe that small acts—when done with great heart—can create meaningful change.

This year, we aim to:

• Strengthen our community outreach and partnerships

• Deepen engagement with youth through RYLA and Interact

• Collaborate with neighbouring clubs for district-wide impact

• Embrace innovation while preserving our valued traditions

• Make Rotary more visible, welcoming, and inclusive for all
